Finally!  OK - I have changed the date to a weeknight because its ALWAYS been a weeknight.

No trail. Just hash business as we gather in for the change of mismanagement.

One of the most sacred events of the Reading Hash Calendar - our AGM. Once every 50 trails we gather to drink, smoke, eat and erect new mismanagement.

Attire is HASH FORMAL.  What is "hash formal" you ask?  I dont know but most of the guys wear some form of jacket and most of the bimbos wear something fancy. The showing of skin is encouraged. Be creative. You only get to do this every 700 days or so!!

The dinner is a buffet.  We have the dining room and upstairs cigar bar reserved.

The evening includes the hash auction - the selling of a load of old hash items, donated things and stuff that you may have left lying around.  Bring items to sell and a wad of cash.  Nobody gets to leave without buying something. This auction funds the website and the next end of GM events.

Our erections are fair and balanced. Vote as many times as you wish. If you want to run for an office let OE know asap or just show up.

The next Grandmaster gets crowned with the same disgusting putrid crown that has been worn for decades. It arrives in a customized armored gold-plated box.

Directions: Proceed north on Rt. 61 out of Reading, past Pottsville about 4 miles. The Wal-Mart is on the north side of the small town of St. Clair on the right. Enter directly from Rt. 61. If you are coming from Harrisburg, proceed up Interstate 81 to the Frackville exit and go SOUTH on Rt 61 about 6 miles. Wal-Mart is at the north end of St Clair on your left.

The Reading H3 held its first r*n on 9/22/84. The hare that day was the founding father and first Grand Master of the RH3, Uncle Reesus, former GM and hare extraordinaire of the Philadelphia H3. Seventeen intrepid hounds (with 1 lonely bimbo) scoured the rugged hills of Wyomissing for flour.

ORIENTEERING TIME!

Our third anal gathering of wankers.  We actually enter the orienteering meet but the catch is we carry beer on the course and stop to drink while others run past trying to beat the clock.

Shamefully, we finished 2nd or 3rd in 2006.  We apologize for overachieving.

OK, here is the scoop. OE has to leave for army duty but you wanks can pull this off on your own.

Gather at EGELMAN PARK (click to get d'rections) on Mt Penn between 1030 and 11AM.  Park downhill and look for ONON decals. Bring your own beer and a small daypack.

You can enter the event anytime between then and 1P.  Most courses should take 1 - 1.5 hrs. You can enter solo or in small group for the same low cost. A compass is not needed for most courses but they will rent you one if you down have one.  They will also go over the basics of the course so dont be timid.

There will NOT be a hash - this is just a fun social gathering to try a sport that likes us and even links to the hash on their website.  Several hashers have expressed interest.  The first yr we met SHERPES and MONICA BLOWINSKI from Pgh and they said they will probably be there as well.

So, go and have fun.

Years ago some wankers would camp on Mt Penn the night before.  Now that would probably get you killed or ass wrangled.

From Hershey- take Rt 322 E through Cambelltown, & go aprox 9 more mi. to Rte 419N/72N, & make a left. Follow this road to the light, & go forward thru the light aprox 1 more mile.  You will see the school on the right, & look for my car.

BRING A DRY BAG! Trail is dog friendly, but you MUST bring an I.D. for one of the possible beer stops. Or no beer.
